Cinema 4D
Fully supportedSend Cinema 4D renders to the cloud without leaving your scene
RenderSonic adds render farm submission to Cinema 4D. It reads your active scene, camera and render settings automatically, syncs referenced textures and linked files to the cloud node, and delivers finished frames back into your local output folder.
Built for Cinema 4D
Native submission panel
Submit straight from Cinema 4D - no exporting, no separate uploader application.
Redshift, V-Ray and Arnold
Render with the engine your scene already uses - RenderSonic submits each one with the same upfront cost and time estimate.
Textures and linked files synced
Referenced textures and linked files are detected and synced automatically before the job starts, so nothing renders missing.
Render hardware
Render Cinema 4D on CPU or GPU - your choice
You choose for every job whether it renders on CPU nodes or GPU nodes, so each scene runs on the hardware that suits it.
CPU nodes
Server and workstation-class processors for CPU renderers and for scenes too large to fit in GPU memory.
- AMD EPYC128 or 256 GB RAM
- AMD Ryzen128 GB RAM
- Intel Xeon128 GB RAM
GPU nodes
NVIDIA RTX cards for GPU-accelerated render engines. Your scene's geometry and textures need to fit in the card's video memory (VRAM).
- NVIDIA GeForce RTX 509032 GB VRAM
- NVIDIA GeForce RTX 409024 GB VRAM
- NVIDIA GeForce RTX 309024 GB VRAM
- NVIDIA RTX A400016 GB VRAM
Which should I choose?
- Choose GPU
- For GPU-accelerated engines, when speed matters most and the scene fits within the card's VRAM.
- Choose CPU
- When a scene's geometry and textures exceed GPU memory, or the render engine runs on CPU only.

Cinema 4D questions

Which Cinema 4D versions are supported?
Cinema 4D 2026.
Which render engines does RenderSonic support for Cinema 4D?
Redshift, V-Ray and Arnold are supported.
Can I render Cinema 4D scenes on CPU or GPU?
Yes - you choose for each job. CPU nodes run AMD EPYC (128 or 256 GB RAM), AMD Ryzen (128 GB RAM) and Intel Xeon (128 GB RAM). GPU nodes run NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 (32 GB VRAM), NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 (24 GB VRAM), NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 (24 GB VRAM) and NVIDIA RTX A4000 (16 GB VRAM).
Do I need to collect assets manually first?
No - RenderSonic scans your scene for referenced textures and linked files and syncs them automatically before the job runs.
Are X-Particles and other Cinema 4D plugins supported?
Yes - all Cinema 4D plugins are supported, including X-Particles, TurbulenceFD, Forester and Greyscalegorilla tools. If one you use isn't listed on this page, tell us and we'll add it. Cache X-Particles and TurbulenceFD simulations before submitting so every node renders the same result.
Should I render Redshift on CPU or GPU?
Redshift is built for GPU rendering, so choose GPU nodes - NVIDIA RTX cards with up to 32 GB of VRAM. V-Ray and Arnold for Cinema 4D can run on either CPU or GPU nodes; choose CPU when a scene is too large for GPU memory.
Is a render farm cheaper than upgrading my own hardware?
For occasional or deadline-driven work, usually yes: you pay per second of server time instead of buying and maintaining GPUs that sit idle between projects. RenderSonic shows the estimated cost before you submit, so you can compare it against a hardware upgrade.
