KeyShot

Fully supported

Product visualization rendering, scaled to the cloud

Submit KeyShot scenes straight from the application to a render farm service built for product visualization. RenderSonic packages your model, materials and environment data and renders on KeyShot's own renderer at cloud scale - ideal for large batches and animation turntables.

Built for KeyShot

Material & environment sync

KeyShot materials, textures and HDRI environments are packaged and synced automatically.

Batch-friendly

Submit turntables and multi-angle product shots as a single job and monitor every frame's progress together.

No re-licensing headaches

Cloud nodes render on KeyShot's engine directly - no conversion or re-export to another renderer required.

Render hardware

Render KeyShot on CPU or GPU - your choice

You choose for every job whether it renders on CPU nodes or GPU nodes, so each scene runs on the hardware that suits it.

CPU nodes

Server and workstation-class processors for CPU renderers and for scenes too large to fit in GPU memory.

  • AMD EPYC128 or 256 GB RAM
  • AMD Ryzen128 GB RAM
  • Intel Xeon128 GB RAM

GPU nodes

NVIDIA RTX cards for GPU-accelerated render engines. Your scene's geometry and textures need to fit in the card's video memory (VRAM).

  • NVIDIA GeForce RTX 509032 GB VRAM
  • NVIDIA GeForce RTX 409024 GB VRAM
  • NVIDIA GeForce RTX 309024 GB VRAM
  • NVIDIA RTX A400016 GB VRAM

Which should I choose?

Choose GPU
For GPU-accelerated engines, when speed matters most and the scene fits within the card's VRAM.
Choose CPU
When a scene's geometry and textures exceed GPU memory, or the render engine runs on CPU only.

Which KeyShot versions are supported?

KeyShot Studio (13).

Which render engines does RenderSonic support for KeyShot?

KeyShot Renderer is supported.

Can I render KeyShot scenes on CPU or GPU?

Yes - you choose for each job. CPU nodes run AMD EPYC (128 or 256 GB RAM), AMD Ryzen (128 GB RAM) and Intel Xeon (128 GB RAM). GPU nodes run NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 (32 GB VRAM), NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 (24 GB VRAM), NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 (24 GB VRAM) and NVIDIA RTX A4000 (16 GB VRAM).

Does RenderSonic support KeyShot animations?

Yes - submit a KeyShot animation sequence as a single job and track every frame's progress from the RenderSonic app.

Are KeyShot materials, environments and plugins supported?

Yes - standard KeyShot materials, textures, HDRI environments and all plugins are supported. If something you rely on isn't covered, tell us and we'll add it.

Do I need KeyShot Network Rendering to use RenderSonic?

No. You submit straight from KeyShot to RenderSonic's cloud nodes - there is no Network Rendering manager or worker to set up.

Can KeyShot render on GPU?

Yes. KeyShot's GPU mode runs on NVIDIA RTX cards, and you choose CPU or GPU nodes for each job. GPU is usually faster for turntables and product shots that fit in the card's VRAM (up to 32 GB).

Which CAD applications can I render from?

Any scene you open in KeyShot, including models brought in through KeyShot's plugins for Rhino, Autodesk Fusion, PTC Creo, SketchUp, Onshape, Siemens NX, Autodesk Revit and Solid Edge.
